COULTERVILLE, Calif. -Yes, Virginia, the Yosemite Arts and Crafts Center is open on weekends, holidays and anytime tourists are roaming the streets, mainly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from about 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and by appointment.
We just named a new art director, so come on by and meet Walter Simon.
We opened in June with a culture and conversation changing opening party
We held shows for more than a dozen artists and crafts makers this summer and fall, including Tom Rogers of Rustic Metal Artworks.
We showcase famous art as well as the work of local and regional artists.
We had seven artists already after only one month.
We had our second successful opening party in August.
All of the news coverage of what’s going on in the gallery is published right here on YosemiteRadio.Org, where we are continuing the long tradition of connecting art, photography and the written word to American democracy, including preserving national forests and parks.
We now have on display many of the art works from the collection of James and Nina Rhodes, including this famous photo of heavy weight champ Cassius Clay and The Beatles from 1964.

We also have two signed Simon Bull paintings of Muhammad Ali on display and for sale.

We also have six Goyas and a Rembrandt, millennial restrikes from the original plates.

And we have a few national park framed photos from Glynn Wilson on display and for sale, and much more.

Stop on by to check out the full collection.
