KNHA-FM is a new, low power FM radio station with streaming on the web. It’s a local radio station from Coulterville, California, the Birthplace of America’s Best Idea, preserving National Parks. We will bring you the best in community programming, with a wide diversity of music around the clock as well as news and events.

Radio Station Manager and News Director manager Glynn Wilson will kick things off with a morning show inspired in part by “Chris in the Morning” from Cicely, Alaska on the CBS show “Northern Exposure.” With a little inspiration from Scott Simon on NPR’s “Weekend Edition.” Maybe a little Garrison Keilor from “Lake Wobegon.” We may even go all the way back to the Grand Old Opry on the radio to mine for jewels.

We are now actively raising money to pay the expenses to fund this radio startup and live streaming project. All contributions are tax deductible through the non-profit Operation New Earth. To contribute you can use PayPal or GoFundMe. Click on the link button below.

We are beginning to explore obtaining sponsors to also help fund this radio station startup and streaming operation. Get in touch if you would like to be a part of this exciting new development in community radio, which is becoming more important than ever as National Public Radio loses financial support in Washington, D.C.

The New American Journal is proud to be the founding sponsor of this effort by providing web hosting and design services, as well as writing and producing expertise.

Nina Avina-Rhodes and James Rhodes represent the Board of Directors of Operation New Earth and are de facto members. At our first official meeting, prior to filing the last of our required FCC documents, the Radio Advisory Board will elect officers and decide upon the duties each member will perform. This is a small town, everybody knows everybody and we will adjust, make changes include more official and specific guidance when that time is necessary – this includes setting meeting times and dates and actual number of advisory board members, appointment, election, and/or replacement.

The Bank for the Radio Station is PNC Bank; 13755 Mono Way, Suite A, Sonora, California, 95311.

Our contact is April Alberto, Branch Manager, 209 532-7481. Donations are tax exempt
as we operate under the umbrella of OPERATION NEW EARTH with accounting systems
previously established; however, the funds for O.N.E. and Radio Station K N H A will never be
comingled or combined as O.N.E.’s bank is in Alabama.

The Radio Station has NO EMPLOYEES but we reserve the right to hire independent
contractors to provide necessary services. We also reimburse for actual expenses directly
related to the radio station. FCC regulations state no one associated with the radio station can “profit” from this relationship; however, factually informing the public who we individually are and our projects, programs within the local community, void of pandering, is acceptable as we are a unique community which should serve as an inspiration for others to imitate.
