Good Morning California and the World.

It’s 58 degrees this morning in Coulterville, California, with a projectedhigh today of 66 and “plentiful sunshine,” according to Wunderground Weather. This is KNHA-FM, Yosemite Radio 100.9, coming to you from the heart of the city famous for gold and historic meetings between John Muir and Teddy Roosevelt, just 30 miles west of Yosemite National Park.

So much for Old Man Winter in January, as the highs will be in the 60s for the next 10 days withsunny skies for the most part. Lows will be in the 40s overnight. But hey, that’s not freezing.

It’s 42 degrees in Yosemite Valley, with a projected highof 67, so this is one national park you can visit in winter while many campgrounds around the country are closed this time of year.

Let’s start the music off the music off this morning with a nod to Molly Tuttle, whose new album “So Long Miss Sunshine” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Americana Album and the single “That’s Gonna Leave a Mark” is up for Best Americana Performance. The show will air on Feb. 1 on CBS.

She and her band Golden Highway recently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show in LA and performed the song. Listen up.

Of course our favorite song, as we’ve mentioned before is “Yosemite” – as in “How many more miles to Yosemite…”
