COULTERVILLE, Calif. — Postmaster Cady Richardson urges kids of all ages to make sure to write and mail their letters to Santa ASAP, as Christmas Day, Dec. 25, is only a week away.

Richardson took the oath to become the Gold Rush town’s Post Master on March 15, 2018. She began her career with the U.S. Postal Service in 2005 as a Sales & Services Associate in Groveland. In 2017, she began her management career supervising carriers and clerks.

“I am extremely proud to be chosen as the new Postmaster for Coulterville,” Richardson said at the time. “I will strive to continue to provide the excellent customer service that Coulterville is known for and to be a leader and advocate for our community.”

As Coulterville Postmaster, Richardson oversees over 1,200 rural and highway contract daily mail deliveries and on average over 1,000 pieces of mail delivered to 308 Post Office boxes. Richardson also manages four employees.
