COULTERVILLE, Calif. – The day has arrived we’ve all been waiting for. The new Yosemite Arts and Crafts Center will open with a wine and cheese party on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., with an after party at the Old Johnny Haigh Saloon across the street.

The address is 5014 Main Street, Coulterville. Raven Littlewing and Wolf will entertain and I might sit in on congas too.

We will have a bottle of white and a bottle of red, some sparkling wine and water, coffee, tea, cheese and crackers and grapes, maybe some fresh apples, plums and cherries from Nina’s garden. You are welcome to bring other beverages and food items, along with a hearty spirit for this new day dawning in our lovely Sierra mountain foothills Gold Rush town.

Against all odds, we are changing the game, the conversation and the culture and moving in a positive direction.

Come one, come all, and don’t forget to invite and bring your artist friends and anyone who forms creative crafts with their minds and hands who need a great space to show their work to the world as the people pass through on the way to and from Yosemite National Park.

Tax deductible donations are welcome to support all of Operation New Earth programs, including Yosemite Arts and Crafts Gallery, the Coulterville Community Garden, and if you like this story and independent radio service you can help Fund Yosemite Radio, KNHA 100.9 FM with GoFundMe.
