COULTERVILLE, Calif. – A group of Native Americans and a delegation from Vietnam’s Consulate Generals Office in San Francisco were honored as special guests at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9454 in Coulterville, California on Sunday during the long Memorial Day weekend.

We were there to witness the historic occasion to take pictures and obtain video footage of this newsworthy and memorable event.

This is a short video with some video clips from the day, including the welcome of distinguished guests by VFW Post 9454 Commander Jesse Salcedo, and a presentation of get well cards from Mariposa County students from Woodland Elementary School to the children at the Friendship Village in Hanoi, Vietnam, third generation herbicidal poison victims (Agent Orange).

It also includes some of the remarks in the keynote luncheon address by Ms. Ho Huong Giang, Deputy Consul General.
